Ryan Day makes a terrible announcement which saddened the Ivorians, “I think it is time to say…
Ohio State head coach Ryan Day didn’t hold back Saturday night after the No. 6 Buckeyes defeated No. 9 Notre Dame on the final play of the game. As Day spoke to NBC after the game, he tore into former Notre Dame head coach Lou Holz. The legendary coach criticized the physicality of Day’s Buckeyes teams during his Friday appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show.”
Day remarked, “I want to know where Lou Holtz is at the moment.” I find it hard to trust what he stated about our team. This is a formidable team. It is always been Ohio vs. the world, and we are pleased to call Ohio home. And Ohio vs. the world will remain the same. We have a tough team, but I tell you, I love those kids. “These kids are constantly being questioned by everyone. Over the past few years, we had one awful half. That is all. Everyone wants to ask these people questions. These men are capable warriors…. There is a reason I feel this way. Many people talk a lot about these children and ask them questions. I also adore them. It is unique to come in and prevail when someone threatens your family. It is a fantastic victory for Ohio State and our program.

“Earlier this week, Holtz stated, ‘You look at coach Day and I coached at Ohio State under Woody Hayes. “We won the national championship when I was there. I take pride in that. But Day has fallen twice to Michigan, Alabama, Georgia, and Clemson. And because they are more physically strong than Ohio State, everyone who defeats him does so. Additionally, I believe Notre Dame will use the same strategy. During his press conference after the game, Day went on. He expressed his displeasure with Holtz’s remarks.
