Throughout his career, basketball center Wilt Chamberlain accomplished a number of incredible exploits. He played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, San Francisco Warriors, and Philadelphia Warriors. In 1968, “Wilt the Stilt” had the most assists overall in the NBA. In the 1961–1962 season, he averaged 50.4 points per game and scored 4,029 points, making him the first player to score more than 4,000 points in a season. However, he accomplished something that will probably never be done again.

After the 1973 season, Chamberlain decided to retire with the Los Angeles Lakers. He played his farewell game on March 28 of that same year. During his career, Chamberlain participated in 1,045 games on the court. And Chamberlain never fouled out of a game in those 14 seasons. The longest string of games without being disqualified belonged to forward Karl Malone of the Lakers and Utah Jazz, who played 1,212 games before fouling out. But aside from Chamberlain, no one in NBA history can claim to have played their whole career.
