Angel Reese explains how teasing resulted from “disrespect”…
Angel Reese, the star of LSU women’s basketball, has her own motivations for making fun of Iowa’s Caitlin Clark. Reese smacked Clark with John Cena’s “you can’t see me” celebration during the handshake line after the Tigers defeated the Hawkeyes, 102-85, to capture their first national championship in program history. Reese also pointed to Clark’s ring finger.
Reese, who took home the Most Outstanding Player trophy from the NCAA Tournament, stated after the game that she was “in [her] bag” at the time since Clark had previously “disrespected” both the South Carolina Gamecocks and her colleague, LSU player Alexis Morris.
