We’ve been waiting a long time for the Beetlejuice sequel, and it looks as though Warner Bros. will be rewarded at….
After much anticipation, it appears that Warner Bros. will reap the rewards at the box office with the Beetlejuice sequel. According to recent reports, the movie might earn up to $145 million at the global premiere. For the ghost with the most, that is an incredible amount of green.
Beetlejuice’s first box office receipts will still be substantial even if it falls short of that total. The sequel’s pre-sales are reportedly higher than those of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which ended up earning $118.4 million during its three days of release. Warner Bros. estimates that the domestic opening will bring in about $80 million. Unadjusted for inflation, the original Beetlejuice ended its run with $73 million.
The eagerly anticipated sequel has received overwhelmingly excellent initial reviews. Eric Walkuski, one of us, was a huge admirer. “Beetlejuice Tim Burton’s entertaining, action-packed work of madness, Beetlejuice, should satisfy the many who have been waiting decades for it. While it may veer toward nostalgia throughout, Walkuski added, “It is not just another retread repeating the Greatest Hits from the original; it also manages to have some odd new tricks up its sleeve.”
