“Barrett Doss Hospitalized! Exclusive Insights into the Scary Incident!”
Before securing the recurring role of Danny Rand’s personal assistant Megan in the superhero drama “Iron Fist” (Netflix, 2017–), actress Barrett Doss made guest appearances in “30 Rock” (NBC, 2006–2013), “Bull” (CBS, 2016–), and “Girls” (HBO, 2012–17). Doss was born in Minneapolis in 1988, but she was raised in Albuquerque and Chicago. She eventually moved to New York to attend the Professional Children’s School, and she later studied Musical Theater at NYU.
In the last episode of the critically acclaimed sitcom “30 Rock” (NBC, 2006–2013), Doss made her on-screen debut as Liz Lemon’s great-granddaughter Eliza. She then went on to make sporadic appearances as a trainee in the crime drama “Person of Interest” (CBS, 2011–16), a love interest in the 2015 web series “The Pioneers,” and a life-saving medical genius in the legal drama “Bull” (CBS, 2016–). Following appearances as a guest on the time-traveling Jack the Ripper series “Time After Time” (ABC, 2017) and the political thriller “The Family” (ABC, 2016), Doss made her big-screen debut as Thurston Marshall’s biopic “Marshall” (2017) and appeared as Zeva, Shoshanna’s former college friend turned entrepreneur, in the last season of “Girls” (HBO, 2012–17). That same year, Doss got her big break when she was cast in two shows. The Tony Award-winning musical “Groundhog Day” featured Rita Hanson, a local TV news producer, and the Marvel Comics series “Iron Fist” (Netflix, 2017–). Doss’s character Megan was her personal assistant.
