Sullivan’s Crossing, according to Chad Michael Murray, is a “place.”…
Based on the novels of Robyn Carr (Virgin River), the show centers on neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan (Morgan Kohan), who goes back to Sullivan’s Crossing, where she was raised, in order to put her business partner’s fraud charges behind her. (She is accused of being careless.) Sully (Scott Patterson), her estranged father, is the proprietor of the secluded and rustic campsite. She runs across some old pals there.
Thank you, Chad Michael Murray. It is my home, so I know. It is where I began everything ages ago, in the year 2000, and now look at me. It is almost like a spiritual coming-of-age experience. It is awesome.
I believe that as we continue to peel back the layers, you will see just how much adversity he has truly faced and overcome in his life, as well as how grounded he has remained throughout. I find it admirable that despite having been kicked repeatedly, he has persevered, found serenity, and used morality as a compass to lead him.
I really can not give much away other than the fact that he is been through a lot, which is why we refer to him as the mystery man since we do not know a lot about him. As the program progresses and the seasons go by, you will learn an increasing amount about him. You will know a tiny bit more unless you have read all of the novels.
