Charmed and Who is in Charge? alum Who Are You People is an independent drama from Paperclip Ltd., the same studio that made the SXSW award-winning All Square movie starring Michael Kelly, and Alyssa Milano has signed on to star and executive produce. Among the cast members are Devon Sawa (Final Destination), John Ales (Euphoria), Paperclip co-founder Yeardley Smith (The Simpsons), Peter Parros (The Haves and the Have Nots), and Ema Horvath, who was cast as a regular on Amazon’s upcoming Lord of the Rings series.
Ben Epstein, a first-time feature film director, created and executive produced Bella Thorne’s Netflix film You Get Me, which he also directed. Shot in Portland, Oregon, the film revolves around 16-year-old Alex (Horvath), who escapes from boarding school in search of her biological father, whom her mother has always concealed, and discovers the tragic story of her origins.
Starring alongside Siddharth Dhananjay as Patti Cake$ is Reid Miller as Good Joe Bell. Producers Toby Louie, Jordan Foley, Nick Smith, and Epstein are joined by Smith and Oscar-winning The Imitation Game writer Ben Cornwell of Paperclip Ltd. Executive producers are Rod Cooper, Irka Zazulak, and Graham Moore.
Milano most recently acted with Quibi in the Farrelly Brothers comedy The Now. She also recently co-starred in the Netflix series Insatiable. CAA represents her.
Horvath was cast in Catherine Hardwicke’s sci-fi drama series Do not Look Deeper on Quibi in addition to Lord of the Rings. Buchwald and Silver Lining Management represent Horvath.
