One bit of advise from Bjorn Borg regarding the upcoming Team Europe project.
Team Europe is currently competing in Berlin for the Laver Cup, with Bjorn Borg serving as captain for the final time.
Out of the six Laver Cup competitions, Borg has four victories; the other two were won by his former opponent and Team World leader, John McEnroe.
Andre Agassi, who will succeed his compatriot as captain for the 2025 Laver Cup, has been tipped for success by McEnroe.
Yannick Noah will take over for the Swede at the competition in San Francisco, and he will undoubtedly have a lot of shoes to fill.
Borg, who has gained the admiration of numerous European celebrities over the years, will undoubtedly depart with many wonderful memories.
In the lead-up to this year’s tournament, where Borg is playing on home turf, both Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev gave the German player high marks.
Next year, Frenchman Noah will be far from home in San Francisco, but luckily, Borg will be there to help smooth the handoff between captains.
According to Borg, who spoke to the Laver Cup website, “the essential thing is he [needs] to comprehend the players, to know the players, to feel the players.” “I am glad he is here now so I can explain a lot of things to him,”
