At the last moment, Chappell Roan turns off the…
Citing her mental health, Chappell Roan abruptly canceled her All Things Go festival appearances that were set to take place this weekend in Washington and New York City.
The “Pink Pony Club” singer posted on her Instagram story on Friday, saying, “I regret to anyone who have been waiting to see me in NYC & DC this weekend at All Things Go, but I am unable to perform.” “Over the past few weeks, things have become incredibly overwhelming, and I am really feeling it.
“I need a few days to prioritize my health since I feel like I have a lot of other things to prioritize right now. When I perform, I want to be fully present and put on the greatest performances I can. I appreciate your comprehension,” she wrote. “I will be returning soon, xox.”
When The Times reached out to Roan and the festival on Friday, their representatives did not immediately respond.

Some social media users expressed their disgust in the 26-year-old openly, while the majority of comments wished her well and hoped she was in good health.
Among the “top 10 worst anime betrayals,” one TikTok user said, “not us finding out Chappell Roan canceled her All Things Go NYC event while already on the plane to NYC.”
Another festivalgoer who claimed to have purchased tickets solely to watch Roan expressed disappointment with the singer’s cancellation, but she was not upset.
With the release of her album “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” and the accompanying tour, Roan shot to stardom among Generation Z in 2018. Her journey through, and into, Los Angeles since 2018 as she attempted to break into the music business was documented on the recording.
However, Roan has more recently used TikTok to address fans directly about what she perceives to be fan abuse and harassment of celebrities. Her remarks regarding the “creepy behavior” of supporters were clarified.
