College basketball insider Jeff Goodman reports the two sides have agreed to play in each of the following two seasons.
SPOKANE, Washington — The Gonzaga Bulldogs and the Baylor Bears are reportedly scheduled to face each other for the foreseeable future. College basketball analyst Jeff Goodman reports that the Bears and Bulldogs will square off at the Spokane Arena on Monday, November 4. According to Goodman, the Zags and Baylor have also decided to face each other in the next two seasons at unspecified neutral venues.
There have only been five meetings between the Bears and Zags, with Gonzaga winning the series overall 3-2. The Bears, on the other hand, have triumphed against Gonzaga in their last two matchups, including an 86-70 victory in the 2020–21 National Championship game. The last meeting between the two teams took place on December 2, 2022. Here in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the Bears prevailed 64–63.
