The Denver Nuggets are facing uncertainty heading into a pivotal Game 6 showdown against the Los Angeles Clippers, as three of their key players have been listed as questionable on the latest injury report.
Following their gritty Game 5 win that gave them the upper hand in the series, concerns have surfaced about the health of several vital contributors. According to team sources, Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are all dealing with lingering issues and are being monitored closely in the lead-up to the next game.
Murray, who played a major role in Game 5’s win, is reportedly dealing with a sore hamstring and was limited during post-game recovery. Gordon is managing ankle soreness that appeared to worsen late in the second half, while Caldwell-Pope has been experiencing back tightness that has flared up throughout the series.
Head coach Michael Malone addressed the injuries briefly during a press conference, saying, “At this point in the playoffs, everyone’s banged up. We’ll evaluate all three ahead of Game 6 and make the best decisions for their health and the team.”
The Nuggets, who are just one win away from advancing, will need to dig deep if any of the trio are unable to suit up. Their depth and bench performance could be tested as they aim to close out the series and avoid a Game 7.
