Rams’ $80 Million Star Headed for the Chicago Bears The Los Angeles Rams informed wide receiver Cooper Kupp that he would be traded this offseason—a fact Kupp confirmed in a post on X.
One of the Los Angeles Rams’ longtime stars has moved on.
Cooper Kupp, the team’s standout wide receiver, was let go after eight years. Rams supporters will remember him as a player for a very long time.
The two parties’ separation has long been anticipated, even though the official announcement was made on Wednesday.
His best season came back in 2021 when he caught 145 passes for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns. Unfortunately, over the past few years, injuries have derailed Kupp’s career. He played in just nine games during the 2022 season, 12 games in 2023, and 12 games in 2024. Despite his time with Los Angeles coming to an end, Kupp will immediately become a hot commodity in NFL free agency.
The wide receiver position is one where many teams in the league could use assistance. The 32-year-old wide receiver’s possible landing destinations have already been touted by a few organizations.
Among those teams are the Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans, and Seattle Seahawks. Any of those destinations would be a solid landing spot for Kupp. At this stage of his career, it does seem likely that joining a contender would be of interest to Kupp. If that is a major factor, the Packers could be a very intriguing destination.
