Wisconsin Badgers Freshman Will Garlock Overcome with Emotion After Receiving Prestigious Michael Jordan MVP, NBA Sportsmanship Award, and J. Walter Kennedy Award….
Middleton High School’s three-star local recruit Will Garlock told On3 that he had committed to Wisconsin. The 6-foot-10 center had offers from Iowa, Penn State, Virginia Tech, and Marquette in addition to the Badgers.
Garlock, who was placed 211st in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking, explained to On3 why he chose to commit to Wisconsin.
“I thought I had the best chemistry with the players and coaching staff there, and I felt like Coach Gard and all the other coaches could help me become the best player I could be.”
Garlock was confident in his choice because he was a priority recruit for the Badgers. “I believe it was because they were the ones that got in touch with me the most, calling and texting me frequently to see how I was doing and to see what had happened. From the beginning, I could tell they were invested in me and cared about me.
