Urgent:Mike Woodson Rushed to the hospital in a critical condition

A brief incident under the basket late in the game was obviously the result of frustrations building. Following a foul, Goode, a former player for Illinois, got into a fight with Tomislav Ivisic. Ivisic was expelled when Indiana’s Oumar Ballo ran into him and shoved him.

Ballo finished with 16 points and 15 rebounds, which was a team high for Indiana. 13 points were added by Goode. Indiana was out-rebounded by 14 points and only made 4 of 18 3-point attempts overall. Kasparas Jakucionis contributed 21 points, while Kylan Boswell led Illinois with 22 points and seven rebounds. Woodson, who played at Indiana under renowned coach Bob Knight before his NBA career, was appointed to replace Archie Miller in 2021. He holds a 76-45 career record and reached the NCAA tournament in his first two seasons, but they missed it last season after finishing just 19-14. Last season, there were rumors that Indiana might terminate him, but they decided to give him another chance.
