Fresh Commitment:Ole Miss receives commitment from experienced defensive back Antonio Kite
During the early window, Ole Miss was among the most active programs on the NCAA Transfer Portal. Furthermore, it seems unlikely that Lane Kiffin and the Rebels will slow down anytime soon. Antonio Kite, a safety for Auburn, has declared his intention to attend Ole Miss.

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that takes into account all four of the main recruiting media organizations, Kite was a four-star prospect out of Anniston, Alabama, as a member of the 2022 class. He was ranked as the class’s 13th safe, the eighth overall prospect in the state, and the 161st overall prospect.
Ole Miss must keep bolstering its defense with experience. It is a good strategy for the future and paid off in 2024 with record numbers.
After high school, the 6-foot-1, 182-pound prospect was regarded as one of Alabama’s best prospects. In addition, Kite is an outstanding athlete. His average of 20.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game earned him the 2020 ASWA 4A Player of the Year award. He was also an exceptional basketball player.
