Tomorrow is the release of the new season.
The 2005 motion picture The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe brought C.S. Lewis’s beloved fantasy novel series, The Chronicles of Narnia, to life, and it has been nearly 15 years since then. In the first movie, viewers saw the four Pevensie siblings—Lucie, Edmund, Peter, and Susan—discover a wardrobe in Professor Digory Kirke’s house that transports them from World War II-era London to the magical, nearly medieval realm of Narnia.
Two further films were made after the first, the last of which had its theatrical debut in 2010. Sadly, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair, the fourth planned sequel, has not yet been released. However, we are honoring the several actors and actresses whose adventures we followed between the real world and Narnia in anticipation of the third sequel, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, which will debut on Disney Plus on October 9, 2020!
Lucie Pevensie, the youngest of the Pevensie siblings, was portrayed by Georgie Henley. When the first movie came out, the actress was just ten years old. Viewers watched Georgie mature as she played the same character in the next two movies. Georgia starred in three films after the release of The Chronicles of Narnia: Perfect Sisters (2014), The Sisterhood of Night (2014), and Access All Areas (2017). In the Starz television miniseries The Spanish Princess, which debuted in 2019 and began broadcasting the second half of its 16 episodes in October 2020, she also played Princes Meg Tudor/Margaret Tudor, Queen of Scots.
