At her Swiss lakeside villa close to Zurich, Tina Turner is throwing a party to commemorate her marriage to Erwin Bach.
Pop icons Sade, David Bowie, and talk show hostess Oprah Winfrey are reportedly among the over 120 guests invited to the Buddhist-themed celebration on Sunday, according to Swiss media.
According to Zurich police spokeswoman Esther Surber, in an effort to stop bystanders from causing accidents on the canal, authorities are temporarily preventing boats on Lake Zurich from approaching Turner’s Chateau Algonquin estate in the Kuesnacht municipality.
The 73-year-old pop queen from America wed Bach, a 57-year-old German music executive and her longtime boyfriend, inside the affluent community’s town hall almost a month ago.
