Returning to our Stana Katic fangirl phase Following the “murder in…”
Being an unapologetic fangirl may sometimes pay off, and the brief glimpse of Stana Katic in the FOX preview for Murder in a Small Town is undoubtedly one of those occasions. Now, before you go very optimistic: Not that anything ever could be, but this is not another Beckett scenario. Technically, she is not The Star—rather, she is “only” a special guest star. Having said that, though, who gives a damn? Since Katic, regardless of the size of her role, always manages to steal the show, let us face it. (Really, watch the two ER episodes where she appeared. Or The Spirit, for an entirely different tone.) And whether she is there for a second, an episode, or an eternity—we, the fangirls, will be there for her.
What, therefore, about this most recent job excites us, outside the obvious—that it is her? Now, let us get this out of the way before it becomes too fangirlish: Her locks. As always, we are totally smitten with her hair. Simply glance at it. Revel in the splendor. (And if you were unaware of Stana Katic’s hair, it is likely that you were not as devoted to Kate Beckett as we were, or you did not watch Castle. And, well. How come you were not then?
We are thrilled to announce that we will have a brand-new, exciting reason to be fixated on Katic’s hair after seeing her in Murder in a Small Town. because Zoe Strachan, the character she plays, has red hair. Not surprise, it suits her. But do not believe us when we say this. Because we were not the only ones who recognized the new color right away. That is Satan Stana’s power at work, reigning supreme over all hairporn.
