The deal is done with star Neymar as Chelsea tops the highest bidder

According to rumours, Chelsea has entered the race to sign Neymar this summer, with the Blues considering a bid for the Brazilian star as a result of Barcelona’s transfer woes.

After Lionel Messi decided to join to Inter Miami rather than return to Catalonia and after Xavi ruled out a bid for his former teammate, Mauricio Pochettino may have a clear route forward.

The 31-year-old was previously handled by the Argentine while he was in charge of Paris Saint-Germain, and he has been likened to Ronaldinho, a legendary player from Brazil. “Ronaldinho was my teammate when I was a PSG player, and now Neymar,” he remarked. “They need to feel good and happy in order to perform at their best.”

Chelsea might be safe if PSG makes a deal for Bernardo Silva, who might also be prevented from joining Barcelona this summer due to past interest from Spain.

Mauricio Pochettino still has a nucleus of players to build his squad around despite hoping to offload as many as 15 first team stars this summer.

Levi Colwill has already made it clear that he wants to stay at Stamford Bridge after the club turned down two offers from Brighton to sign the outstanding Cobham product. He is just one of the twelve stars that the Argentine coach already has at his disposal.

One of the most impressive players since moving to west London in January is Enzo Fernandez, who joins him in the midfield. He has been mentioned as a possible captain in the future.

However, the front line is less certain in this aspect, since players like Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Hakim Ziyech all have a chance of leaving the team.

According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea is currently in the driver’s seat in the pursuit of Moises Caicedo this summer. Arsenal is also interested in the Ecuadorian international as the transfer season approaches.

“Moisés Caicedo has not agreed to personal terms with anyone; he is considering options, and Chelsea are 100% in the race,” he stated. While Manchester United and Arsenal both continue to be interested. He’s ideal, in Chelsea’s opinion, for their plans.

“I have heard from sources that due to an agreement between Caicedo and De Zerbi, the price will be between £70 and £80 million rather than £100 million. Chelsea is the front-runner in the competition for his new opportunity.
