Sad News: Boston Celtic Coach Involve In An Accident today…

The weekend snowstorms caused numerous automobile accidents throughout the region, and the Boston Celtics did not escape the mishaps.

Second-year forward Glen Davis was injured in a car crash while driving to the Celtics’ game against the New York Knicks at the TD Banknorth Garden on Sunday.

Davis was involved in an accident on the Massachusetts Turnpike during the afternoon and was taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

According to Jeff Twiss, the team’s vice president for media services, Davis suffered a concussion and whiplash in the crash.

While the Celtics were extending their winning streak to 18 games with a 124-105 victory over the Knicks, Davis was in the hospital where he was joined by Danny Ainge, the team’s executive vice president of basketball operations.
