Report: Chelsea could try again to sign ‘world-class’ player if deal collapses at last minute

Declan Rice might be re-signed by Chelsea if his proposed transfer to Arsenal falls through at the last minute.

According to 90 minutes, that is.

Declan Rice, the captain of West Ham and only 24 years old, has recently been linked to a transfer to Stamford Bridge. However, a transfer to Arsenal is currently the subject of all the commotion around him.

According to a recent report from The Daily Mail, Chelsea’s interest in signing Rice has diminished since they think the star wants to sign with Arsenal.

It now appears that the Blues are still holding out for him.

West Ham is reportedly ready to let go of talisman Rice during this summer’s transfer window, but they won’t consent to his departure until the transfer fee is greater than £100 million.

It is believed that Arsenal has made two unsuccessful bids to capture the England and Hammers midfielder, with the most recent one costing a total of £90 million. However, the Gunners intend to make a third bid.

According to the article, Rice might still be signed by Chelsea if a deal with Arsenal falls through.

It’s significant to remember that the player, despite attention from Manchester City and Manchester United, wants to remain in London.

Although we are unsure of Rice’s chances of joining Chelsea this summer, we would adore it if they waited until the very last minute to make a move.

The Blues absolutely require the ‘world class’ defensive midfielder in their starting lineup.

Despite the fact that he led West Ham to victory in the UEFA Europa Conference League last season, everyone agrees that he belongs on the field for the biggest matches.

After a terrible year, Chelsea regrettably won’t be able to offer any European players to their transfer targets in 2019.
