According to TuttoJuve, Arsenal plan to make a bid for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in the January transfer window.

The Italian news outlet has claimed that Arsenal wanted to sign the striker in the summer of 2023.

Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are also keen on the £215,000-a-week (SalarySport) star.

However, according to TuttoJuve, Juventus have no intention of selling Vlahovic, who is “lightning” and whose “left foot is like a wand”, according to former Manchester City and Fiorentina defender Micah Richards on BBC Radio 5 Live in December 2021, in the middle of the season.

My View: Arsenal could struggle to sign Dusan Vlahovic in January

I do not see Juventus selling Dusan Vlahovic in the middle of the season to Arsenal, Chelsea or Atletico Madrid.

Vlahovic is an important player for Juventus, and the former Serie A and UEFA Champions League are surely not going to sell any of their best footballers in January.

After all, Juventus are aiming to win the Serie A title this season.

Vlahovic has made five starts and two substitute appearances in Serie A this season.

The 23-year-old Serbia international striker has scored four goals and given one assist in those games.

The striker scored 10 goals and gave two assists in 22 Serie A starts for Juventus last season.

Vlahovic has not had the best of times at Juventus, but he has huge potential, and I am not surprised that Arsenal are keen on him.

Gabriel Jesus is the number one striker at Arsenal at the moment, but the Brazil international is not a prolific goalscorer and misses chances.
