Pep Guardiola is planning to quit Manchester City, and a date has been established in advance of a new challenge.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has set the date that he will part with the Premier League, following his Treble success

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, is rumored to have set a date for his departure from the Premier League.

The Catalan oversaw Manchester City’s first-ever Champions League championship against Inter Milan in Istanbul, making him the first manager in English football since Sir Alex Ferguson to complete a Triple. Following his 2008/09 triumph in his debut season as senior manager at Barcelona, this is Guardiola’s second Triple.

However, it is likely that he will continue in charge until 2025 – but now, a story from The Guardian has announced his departure date at the Etihad Stadium. There have been rumors that he could leave on a high and complete his City tenure two years earlier than contractually expected.

When his contract expires in two years, Pep Guardiola “is firmly minded to leave Manchester City,” according to the source. The decision to extend Guardiola’s contract was uncertain to his close group, and it was finally made in November.

The Catalan will have been City’s manager for nine years if he retires in 2025 as anticipated. After taking a break in 2012–2013 to live in New York City, he led Barcelona for only four seasons before taking over Bayern Munich for three.
