Nathan Ake outlines dressing room mentality that has put Man City on the brink of treble

After winning the FA Cup in addition to the Premier League, Manchester City is one victory away from completing the trifecta.

The Manchester City club is just 90 minutes away from completing the treble, according to Nathan Ake, who also promised that his colleagues will do all in their power to win the Champions League.

After recovering from an injury in time for the season’s final games, Ake started the FA Cup final victory against Manchester United from the bench as Manu Akanji occupied the left side of the defense. Ake claimed that the squad’s overall understanding is what has put City in a position to win the Premier League championship and go to the Champions League final the following week.

“If you’re that close, you’ll do everything to accomplish it. After the FA Cup final, the Dutchman observed, “We still have one major final to prepare for.

It sounds trite, but we’ve lived up to that throughout the entire season. It’s been game by game. There is just one game remaining to win another trophy after you arrive. Since the treble is uncommon, we are confident that we can accomplish something extraordinary.

Ake cited the hard effort put in off the field to make sure everything works well on it as an example of how City has gotten within one game of the treble.

“The unity we have as a group is already showing now,” he remarked. “Everyone gets along well, supports one another, and pushes one another when necessary. We feel like we can talk to one other if there are times when we slack off or feel like we need to push harder. The squad works well as a unit.

“After games, there may be training sessions. Some players who aren’t playing may be frustrated, but nobody expresses it; everyone just keeps going and works hard. Everyone pushes each other to get to the front of the line up, which maintains the level very high and prevents anyone from slipping.
