Manchester United winger Antony accused of domestic violence by 22-year-old woman in Brazil

A 22-year-old Brazilian woman has accused Manchester United winger Antony of domestic abuse.

On Monday, the woman reported Antony to the police in Sao Paulo, alleging that he had assaulted, injured, and threatened her.

According to the story, the woman is the subject of numerous complaints of violence, the first of which is reported to have occurred in a Sao Paulo nightclub in July 2022.

According to reports, the second incident took place in January 2023, and the lady claims Antony attacked her and injured her, necessitating surgery.

It is said that two other assaults occurred in England, one of which resulted in the cutting of her finger on a shattered glass by Antony. There is a picture of the scar on her hand in the police report.

Additionally, the woman claims Antony verbally threatened to kill her over the phone on May 20, the same day he participated in Manchester United’s 1-0 Premier League victory over Bournemouth.

The woman says she hasn’t spoken to Antony since May 28 and has asked Brazilian authorities for “urgent protective measures.”

Police in Brazil have requested that the woman undergo a medical exam after filing the report.

Manchester United acquired Antony from Ajax in an £85 million trade last September.

In his first season at Old Trafford, the 23-year-old made 44 appearances and scored eight goals in all competitions.

Additionally, Antony has 16 Brazilian caps and was a member of the Brazilian team that competed in the World Cup in Qatar last year.
