It’s been quite the week for Manchester United. It’s now been seven days since Jadon Sancho publicly rebutted Erik ten Hag’s decision to drop him from the matchday squad against Arsenal due to training levels.

Sancho claims he has been a ‘scapegoat for a long time’ although MEN Sport understands Ten Hag is standing by his comments. Victor Lindelof has been the first United player to comment on the matter.

He said the United dressing room is ‘calm’ and insisted the squad is a tight group that is unaffected by outside noise. Lindelof started for Sweden in their Euro 2024 win over Estonia on Saturday despite coming off against Arsenal feeling unwell.

Fellow Reds centre-back Harry Maguire played a full 90 minutes for the first time since the final day of last season in England’s 1-1 draw with Ukraine last night. Marcus Rashford came off the bench.

One of the stand-out kits of the new season, the base colour of the adidas shirt is green with white stripes and maroon lines ensuring United will boast one of the most eye-catching shirts in the game for the 2023/2024 campaign.

Ten Hag was busy this summer but with an injury crisis having a strangle hold on the club, did he make the right deals this summer? Have your say below.

According to The Athletic, United’s midfielder could return from injury for the clash against Bayern Munich on September 20.

Mount suffered a muscular problem last month and has been out of action since but there is apparently an outside chance the Englishman returns to face Brighton on Saturday but if not Bayern away is also thought to be a realistic return date.

As we start to look towards the return of domestic football, a familiar sinking feeling soon sets in when you remember the injury crisis which embroils the clue.

The latest player to add their name to the treatment room is Amrabat after he dropped out of the Morocco squad on Thursday.

Monaco’s right-sided star Vanderson has admitted it is great to be linked with United after several reports this summer claimed the Reds were interested in the Brazilian.

After Sancho’s response to Ten Hag’s press conference, United’s central defender has insisted the dressing room is calm after the incident.

Now the transfer window has officially come to an end, it is time for United fans have to your say on the business done by Ten Hag.After Germany’s 4-1 defeat to Japan this weekend, Hansi Flick has been sacked from his position as the national team’s head coach.

One of the names being touted to replace him, according to The Independent’s Miguel Delaney, is Rangnick.

The current Austrian national team head coach endured a torrid time as interim manager of United after the sacking of Solskjaer.
