Liverpool transfer news as $70m ‘offer made’ and Bayern Munich ‘sets Ryan Gravenberch price’

Liverpool transfer news: Jürgen Klopp’s side has supposedly made a $70m offer for a Real Madrid player while Bayern Munich has set Ryan Gravenberch’s price-tag.

Even though Liverpool has only acquired Alexis Mac Allister this summer, there is still much to come. The Argentine star is just the beginning for Jürgen Klopp, and no other team has completed their transfer business either.

More midfield reinforcements and a defender are on the list, as Liverpool is aware that players who have moved on must be replaced with quality players who can ensure an increase in performance the following season.

Thuram

Khéphren Thuram and Gabri Veiga are two of the several midfielders being considered this summer as opposed to previous year when just one or two names were.

Another player who has been given significant consideration at Anfield is Ryan Gravenberch. An update on how much he might cost if Bayern Munich agrees to let him go has been published, despite the German champion preferring to keep the former Ajax youth.

Here is the Liverpool.com take on the rumors surrounding the Reds’ transfers that have surfaced today, starting with the potential return to the market of former Klopp target and teenage Real Madrid star Aurélien Tchouaméni.

Klopp

Aurélien Tchouaméni (Real Madrid)

El Nacional in Spain says that Liverpool has submitted a bid of $70 million (£55 million/€64 million) for Real Madrid midfielder Tchouaméni, with the Bernabeu ready to accept a bid of $102 million (£80 million/€93 million).

Liverpool was interested in Tchouaméni when he left AS Monaco for Spain last summer, but he decided to sign with the La Liga team instead. But now that Eduardo Camavinga has made an impression and Jude Bellingham has also been signed, there is a possibility that Real Madrid will make a profit on the 23-year-old Frenchman.

While it’s stated that Real Madrid would want to keep Tchouaméni, Klopp is reportedly trying to persuade him to transfer. If a sizable bid is made, a deal is reportedly possible.

If Tchouaméni is actually available, Liverpool would be wise to sign him, according to Liverpool.com. He was the only player the Reds wanted last summer, and he is still a high talent.

Despite the allegations in Spain, it doesn’t appear that Real Madrid will be eager to profit. Additionally, it is unclear if Tchouaméni would be receptive to the move or choose to remain with Real Madrid and compete for a starting position.

Ryan Gravenberch (Bayern Munich)

According to Spanish news outlet Fichajes, Ryan Gravenberch, a talented midfielder, will only cost Liverpool $28 million (£22 million/€25 million) to join this summer, according to Bayern Munich.

However, Bayern Munich would prefer to keep Gravenberch and is still trying to convince the Dutchman, who joined the German champion last summer from Ajax, that Thomas Tuchel will give him more playing time.

According to Liverpool.com, Gravenberch is a player that the club admires. However, while the cost of his departure won’t be prohibitive, the main question is whether the 21-year-old is willing to leave. The player is willing to stay at Bayern Munich if he believes he will have opportunities and will only push for a transfer if it is obvious that he won’t.

That is the challenge for Liverpool in this transfer — persuading Gravenberch that leaving Bayern Munich after only a few months is a smart decision in addition to that he would play more minutes at Anfield. It is yet to be seen if one of those things actually transpire.
