Liverpool new signings 2023/24: Complete list of players to transfer to Reds for next season

Liverpool’s failure to secure a Champions League spot for the 2023/24 season has created a major push for changes at Anfield ahead of the new domestic campaign.

Jurgen Klopp has acted swiftly to bring in fresh players following the free-transfer departures of eperienced stars including James Milner, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Roberto Firmino at the end of June.

World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister was a prompt acquisition for Klopp, joining from Brighton & Hove Albion, followed by a bold move for Hungary international Dominik Szoboszlai.

Klopp is expected to bring in more new faces as the transfer window extends into August with cover across positions still needed at Anfield.

Mac Allister was lined up as a target in the final weeks of last season, with the Argentinian scoring 10 Premier League goals at Brighton in 2022/23, and Liverpool secured a swift agreement on a £35 million/$45 million deal.

The push to bring in Szoboszlai came as part of a wider transfer strategy after they missed out on missing out on Jude Bellingham, who signed for Real Madrid. Liverpool paid an eye-catching £60m/$78.3m for the RB Leipzig man, who has been recruited for his potential to develop into a real star under Klopp’s tutelage.
