Larry Bird Shows Off His Resilience During the Pacers…

Larry Bird can still put on a show.

SLAM Magazine recently spoke with Paul George of the Indiana Pacers, and during the interview, he was questioned about Larry Legend’s shooting in the gym during practice. It seems that Bird still has it even after spending decades out of the league.

A ball that had rolled over was picked up by him. He made about fifteen consecutive ones, rolled up his sleeves, and left as if nothing had happened. I’ve never seen anything so insane.”

George answered the following when asked how his teammates felt about the outstanding shooting performance:

“We couldn’t express ourselves. We couldn’t decide whether to stop practicing or to continue shooting. Man, that was really sweet.”

You can be sure that while Bird was shooting in front of George and the other players, he was mentally reliving his famous “Who’s coming in second?” moment.

And for that reason, people, he’s Larry Legend.
