Inter Milan now want to sign 33-year-old Chelsea player in package with Romelu Lukaku

According to reports from Italy, Inter Milan is now interested in signing Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta.

The Serie A team wants to sign the 33-year-old as part of a deal that also includes Romelu Lukaku returning to the team, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Recent news stories have fueled rumors that Azpilicueta’s ten-year stay at Stamford Bridge may be coming to an end.

Due to the ongoing friendship he still has with his former manager Thomas Tuchel, he was linked with a move to Bayern Munich yesterday.

The January signing Malo Gusto is now expected to join the team before the start of the next season, therefore it looks that he has also lost his position as Reece James’ backup.

Azpilicueta and Lukaku to Inter

Today, it was reported that he was also on Inter’s list of potential Champions League finalists for the upcoming campaign. It was intended for him to join as part of a deal that also included Lukaku’s return.

The Belgian is now not content, and he hasn’t been since returning to Stamford Bridge.

He appears unhappy right now, though, because the Blues decided not to take a significant financial penalty by loaning out a player who had been their record signing up until recently.

With the athlete already receiving hefty offers from Saudi Arabia to take his abilities there, it is now up to Inter to decide what to do.

Trevoh Chalobah is supposedly a defensive target for the Serie A team, and it is said today that talks have already taken place between the two parties.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future at the moment, the footballer has also refused to rule out a move to Italy.
