Hot news!!!: Chelsea’s ‘fantastic leader’ is now close to leaving Stamford Bridge – Romano

Edouard Mendy, the Chelsea goalkeeper, is allegedly on the verge of quitting Stamford Bridge, according to Fabrizio Romano.

He announced on Twitter that the 31-year-old has already reached a personal agreement with Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia on a prospective transfer this summer.

This summer, teams from Saudi Arabia have been raiding Chelsea, with Mendy being the most recent target.

This comes after it is anticipated that N’golo Kante would finish moving there at the soonest opportunity once his contract in West London expires.

But they aren’t simply focusing on free agents. Deals to make Hakim Ziyech and Kalidou Koulibaly’s own moves permanent are also reportedly close.

Romano claims that the talks between all sides are in their final stages, suggesting that Mendy is the one who is closest to resolving his own fate.

Mendy accepts specific conditions

“Understand,” he said. Edouard Mendy and Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia have now reached a personal agreement; the agreement will be in effect until June 2026.

Negotiations to bring a Senegal goalkeeper from Chelsea to the Saudi league permanently are nearing their conclusion. We’re about to start here!”

When Thomas Tuchel was fired, appearances were scarce despite being one of the first names on the squad roster.

Despite having the support of the majority of his comrades, he still does this. He was earlier referred to as a “fantastic leader” by Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Before starting his debut season as Chelsea manager, it is unclear what Mauricio Pochettino has in mind for the goalkeeper position this summer.

There have been rumors that he would want to keep Kepa Arrizabalaga as his starting goalkeeper in West London, but it’s doubtful it would be a decision that would win him many fans.
