Done Deal!!! Liverpool completely seal £49.5m signing on Monday & medical scheduled

In terms of incoming transfers, Liverpool had a quiet transfer window, but it appears that business will pick up significantly in the coming days.

The Reds and Porto have reached an agreement, according to numerous Portuguese media sites, for the Reds to sign Luis Diaz. They also have the player’s consent.

The Merseysiders reportedly pushed in yesterday night with an offer for 60 million euros (£49.5 million), 45 million euros in cash, and the other 15 million euros in add-ons.

The player has allegedly already come to a deal with the Merseysiders, and the transfer is anticipated to be finalized on Monday.

This morning, A Bola reported that FC Porto had accepted Liverpool’s £49.5 million offer, much to the dismay of their manager, Sergio Conceicao. Spurs also contacted the player, but he is not keen on joining the north London club.

The national team, which will play Argentina a few days after tonight’s match against Peru in a World Cup qualification match, features the top scorer in the Copa America. The winger would not be released, thus the physical had to be completed in South America given that Colombia is fighting hard to make it to the finals in Qatar.
