Done deal!!! Chelsea signed a new striker

Nicolas Jackson has been mentioned by Mauricio Pochettino as a potential remedy for Chelsea’s striker problems, and negotiations to purchase the forward from Villarreal are already under way.

Given how severely the Blues struggled in front of goal last season, along with a number of anticipated high-profile exits, the incoming Chelsea manager wants to acquire at least one new forward this summer.

Joao Felix’s return to Atletico Madrid from his unsuccessful six-month loan at Stamford Bridge has already been announced, and Romelu Lukaku is negotiating a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.

In the Saudi Pro League, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang might team up with Romelu Lukaku, and Kai Havertz is rumored to be on Real Madrid and Arsenal’s radars.

David Datro Fofana, a Graham Potter acquisition for January, is still undetermined, while Armando Broja is currently healing from a torn cruciate knee ligament.

Victor Osimhen, a goal machine for Napoli, has long been a target for Chelsea, but the battle to recruit the former Lille striker is fierce, despite the Serie A winners’ wish to keep the 24-year-old on their roster.

A transfer for Juventus attacker Dusan Vlahovic is also being considered, and Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta, a talented Danish international, is also on a long list of possible targets.

In light of Kylian Mbappe’s dispute with PSG, reports surfaced on Tuesday that Chelsea would look into the prospect of signing him. They have also been linked to a move for the similarly uneasy Neymar.

The Argentine has urged his new team to seek more practical goals because adding two world players, who Pochettino had previously managed with variable success, would only likely increase the sense of disarray at Chelsea.
