Dominik Szoboszlai shares what Erling Haaland said about Liverpool after completing move

Erling Haaland and Dominik Szoboszlai have previously been team-mates

Dominik Szoboszlai recently moved to Liverpool for a hefty transfer fee, and in an effort to settle down in England, he has asked Erling Haaland of Manchester City for advice. The two may eventually live next to each other in Liverpool, as the newcomer from Hungary.

Szoboszlai moved from RB Leipzig to Anfield for £60 million after the Reds exercised his release clause. In an effort to strengthen his midfield, Jurgen Klopp has signed the highly regarded Hungarian to a five-year contract.

Liverpool had already signed Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton but have taken their summer spending to around the £100m mark after capturing Szoboszlai. The 22-year-old has come through the Red Bull system, playing for both Leipzig and Salzburg, which allowed him to cross paths with Haaland.

As the two prepare to square off on the field later in the year, the Manchester City star has given Szoboszlai advice on where he should look to call home in England.

In response to his conversations with the Norwegian, Szoboszlai told Nemzeti Sport: “We’ve talked, so much so that Erling Haaland has also offered advice on obtaining real estate, and it’s entirely possible that we’ll end up being neighbors. He told me that a few players reside midway between Manchester and Liverpool in a quiet neighborhood where privacy can be maintained. On Monday, I’ll check what he was referring about because I’m quite interested.

Of course, putting our friendship aside for the Liverpool-Manchester City games, playing together will undoubtedly be an incredible experience against each other.

In addition, Szoboszlai spoke with Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi, who had previously played for Liverpool before advancing his career in Germany. He only played a few times for the Reds, but he was able to share his wisdom.

“I’ve spoken to him before, and he knows how our relationship is like,” the Hungarian continued. He was there in Leipzig when I arrived, and once I joined the team as a player, I knew I could rely on his support. He was a great teammate of mine, so I hope he recovered from his injuries in time for Liverpool’s Champions League match against RB Leipzig save my free-kick
