Deal is set rolling!!! Check out the list of the international stars that are on the score sheet for England

On Friday night, Trent Alexander-Arnold struck an outstanding long-range goal as England defeated Malta 4-0.

The 24-year-old played in midfield for the Euro 2024 qualifier and scored his country’s second goal in the 28th minute with a curling shot from outside the box.

Jordan Henderson only played for the first hour, but Alexander-Arnold played the entire game and contributed a great through ball in the buildup to the Three Lions’ own goal.

After the game, Liverpool’s No. 66 said, “I enjoyed it. “I adore playing football, being on the field, and defending my nation. I was pleased to be there and play the entire 90 minutes.

“I’m getting fitness back in my legs after that short break after the end of the season, and toward the end I got a little tired – but overall I enjoyed that and I’ll remember that one,” the athlete said.

He continued, “It’s still early and I haven’t played it too much, but I’ll say it feels natural and at ease to play in the middle.

It’s a place I like to play and one where I can see me playing in the future.

For me, it’s about joining this squad and making an effort to have a consistent name on the teamsheet. I believe that today served as a solid basis.

The centre-back played 84 minutes in Friday’s Group B match against Gibraltar, which France won 3-0. Ibrahima Konate contributed to France’s clean sheet in that match.
