Chelsea ready to get deal done for £97.5 million star – but transfer message sent

Chelsea is now willing to write off a sizable portion of the £97.5 million they paid Inter for Lukaku less than two years ago because they no longer believe he is the right person to guide the team back to glory.

The big man has repeatedly stated that he wants to remain in Seria A starting with the upcoming season and has no desire to return to Stamford Bridge.

Wright-Phillips believes that Nkunku, who arrived in a £52 million transfer from RB Leipzig last week, would provide the perfect Lukaku partner for Mauricio Pochettino in the next season.

“Having no striker last season was their biggest crime,”

They were losing games and giving up goals, but the problem wasn’t that they weren’t creating chances; rather, it was that they weren’t taking advantage of them. Rom is a striker, and they need someone to put the ball in the back of the net.

They’ll never make back the money they spent on him, and because he doesn’t appear to have any other options, I anticipate that he’ll return.

Poch might be able to elicit something from him if Christopher Nkunku is playing in the background.

The majority of supporters will tell you that they want a better striker and do not want to see Lukaku return to the team. They also do not want the board to continue paying his enormous £300,000 weekly salary.
