BRONOCOS KEY STAR MIGHT MISS 3 GAMES DUE TO…

Denver, Colorado — On Thursday, the Broncos added left tackle Garett Bolles to their list of injured players.

Bolles was added to Denver’s injury report on Thursday due to a hip problem. He was listed by the Broncos as having a light practice workload as well.

Not just Bolles, but a number of important Broncos players were listed as injured on Thursday. Due to a hamstring injury, wide receiver Brandon Johnson was only used sparingly in practice. Similar to Bolles, Johnson was not mentioned in the injury report that was released after practice on Wednesday.

This season, the offensive line has mostly avoided injuries. Mike McGlinchey, a right tackle, hasn’t missed a game in the regular season despite missing the entire preseason due to a knee sprain. This season, the Broncos have started the same offensive line in each of their first 17 games. This is a significant departure from the previous campaign, in which ten different offensive linemen started at least one game and no offensive lineman started all 17 games.

Bolles is off to a great start to the season. Pro Football Focus data shows that through seven games, the seven-year veteran has only given up one sack and eight pressures.

INSURANCE UPDATES AFTER GARETT BOLLES SAFETY Due to a hip problem, Justin Simmons only worked a limited amount on Wednesday but practiced fully on Thursday.
Baron Browning, an edge rusher, has been out for two days due to a wrist injury, but he has worked two full days.
Due to a knee injury, running back and special team member Dwayne Washington did not practice on Wednesday. However, on Thursday, he participated in a full practice.
Alex Palczewski, a rookie offensive lineman who is still on injured reserve, continued to work on the side field where players recovering from injuries are kept.
