Arsenal star Oleksandr Zinchenko has sent an X-rated warning to Chelsea forward Mykhailo Mudryk ahead of their Premier League clash this weekend. The two Ukraine internationals are set to go head-to-head at Stamford Bridge on Saturday in a London derby.

The Gunners head into the game against the Blues still unbeaten in the Premier League and joint-top of the table – along with North London rivals Tottenham. Mauricio Pochettino’s side have won their last three games in all competitions and have somewhat turned a corner prior to the international break with goals starting to flow in the squad.

Mudryk scored his first goal for the Blues in the 2-0 win against Fulham before being withdrawn at half-time due to an injury. However, the Ukraine international was passed fit to feature for his nation during the Premier League break and netted his first goal for his country in a 3-1 win against Malta on Tuesday night.

As England defeated Italy to book their place at Euro 2024, Ukraine moved above Luciano Spalletti’s side into second place in Group C – taking them one step closer to qualification. The 22-year-old will now turn his focus to securing a place in Chelsea’s starting line-up for their Premier League clash at home to Arsenal this weekend.

Ahead of the game, Zinchenko has warned Mudryk that he will not allow him to repeat his stunning solo goal against Malta when the Gunners make the short trip to Stamford Bridge this weekend. When asked about Mudryk’s goal after Ukraine’s win against Malta, the Arsenal defender said: “I told him… ‘if you do or attempt to do that on Saturday, I’ll rip your balls off’.”

Zinchenko added: “But the most important thing for us was to take three points. I am very happy for him and for the national team, Mykhailo’s goal was important because he calmed down the game a little.

“We have already had the experience of being 2-1 up and losing points in the last minutes, as happened against Kazakhstan. So this goal means a lot to us and gives us confidence, but now we all have to switch to clubs and on Saturday, I already have a very important game in London waiting for me, so Mykhailo, I’m telling you once again.”

Both Chelsea and Arsenal are suffering from a number of injury concerns. Pochettino looks set to be without Reece James after the England international suffered a setback in his recovery, whilst Mikel Arteta has been left sweating over the fitness of William Saliba and Bukayo Saka.
