The Celtics continue to get positive injury news when it comes to their regular rotation players. Only big man Neemias Queta was listed ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Pacers. Queta, who sat out Monday’s win over the Wizards, was upgraded to doubtful due to right foot soreness.

The C’s haven’t had much injury news throughout the opening weeks of the season, dating back to training camp. There were some concerns about Kristaps Porzingis as he had to sit out the FIBA World Cup due to plantar fasciitis. But he’s been healthy and an early force for the Celtics.

Boston is currently 3-0 on the season as it blew out the Wizards last time out. There have been plenty of positive developments thus far as the Celtics are looking to make a title run this season. They haven’t skipped any steps yet, and the injury front has been a plus thus far.

Of course, expect the Celtics to mix their starting lineups going forward, whether due to injuries or resting players. That’s the reality of an 82-game season as teams will be proactive to ensure their players are healthy.

Queta signed with the Celtics on a two-way deal during the offseason, and he had a strong preseason. While he won’t see much playing time when the C’s are fully healthy, he should be a nice depth piece in a thin front court. The fact that he was upgraded to doubtful is also a positive sign the soreness isn’t anything serious.
