Barcelona and Real Madrid go to war for Arda Guler

Barcelona would explore for a transfer for Guler in 2024.

Due to their financial difficulties, it appeared that the Catalan club wouldn’t compete for the player, but LaLiga’s regulations will allow transfers for the 2024/25 season not to count in the current season.

The Catalan club is therefore anticipated to seek for an agreement for the player to join in 2024.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are at battle for the transfer of the teenage player Arda Guler. What players are the best clubs in Europe pursuing in transfers?

Arda Guler, a creative star for Fenerbahce, is in the spotlight and several teams, including Real Madrid and Barcelona, are interested in the talented teenager.

Barcelona has gone above and above to prevent the attacker from escaping by bringing in a player who will usher in a new era in football.

In order to attempt and sign Guler, club personnel lead by Joan Laporta traveled to Istanbul in the last few hours, with Deco in charge of persuading the player.

Although they are intrigued, Real Madrid already has players in that position.

Real Madrid has been keeping an eye on the playmaker for a while and has finally joined the race to sign the Fenerbahce player.

Guler’s signing would be consistent with the club’s strategy of luring young talent, which has brought the team so much success in recent years and this season added another chapter with the addition of Jude Bellingham at the age of just 19.

The Turkish player’s fit in a roster that already features attacking players like Rodrygo, Brahim Diaz, and Bellingham himself is Los Blancos‘ primary issue with the transfer, not financial but sporting.

Due to this, one of the club’s alternatives is to cancel Guler’s registration and look for a loan at a respectable European club so that he may finish his growth before making the final transition to Real Madrid’s first team.

Despite this, it’s also not completely ruled out that he may join the club this summer.

The message from Real Madrid is that this situation won’t last long and will be handled, for better or worse, within the next few days.

On July 10, Los Blancos will begin preseason practice, and by that date, they want the group to be as complete as possible.
