Arsenal in talks to sign one of Manchester City player with a 2years deal

Joao Cancelo, a fullback for Manchester City, has reportedly held negotiations with Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta wants to improve in a number of areas during the upcoming summer transfer window after finishing second in the Premier League this season.

Declan Rice, the captain of West Ham, is one of Arsenal’s top targets, and Arteta is eager to bring in two new midfielders.

Ilkay Gundogan, a midfielder for Manchester City, reportedly received a two-year contract offer from Arsenal. Gundogan’s contract expires this summer. However, Barcelona has offered the 32-year-old a three-year contract, and City are also making a strong effort to keep him.

Sky Sports reports that Arsenal and City have engaged in “early verbal talks” regarding a potential Cancelo transfer.

The network claims that between Arsenal and City, there is already a “gap in valuation,” though.

Unexpectedly, the Premier League champions allowed Cancelo to leave during the January transfer window after he lost Pep Guardiola’s favor.

It is thought that the defender does not intend to transform the temporary move to Bayern Munich into a permanent one this summer.

Before the start of the upcoming season, Arsenal is trying to add a new right-sided defender, and the club has spoken with Galatasaray about acquiring Sacha Boey.

The Turkish club has already turned down a £14 million offer and is now holding out for a sum of €25 million (£21.7 million).

Ivan Fresneda of Real Valladolid is an additional option for Arsenal. Following Valladolid’s relegation from La Liga, the 18-year-old’s release clause, which was originally set at €40 million (£34.4 million), has been cut to €20 million (£17.2 million).
